Four Months Old!!

Four months old already! Here are my usual photos with my sticker and paper!

What you don't see is the following:
- I'm a really good roller. I roll front-to-back and back-to-front...but only when I want to or when I'm bored with Mommy and Daddy.
- I talk... A LOT. I guess I take after my Daddy.
- I had my baptism. I wore Mommy's old dress and I yelled at the priest. It was fun. (Mommy is going to post photos of that soon, she promises.)
- On that same weekend, I got to meet Uncle Michael, Jonathan, Samantha, and Auntie Kara. I love them and wish they lived closer.
- I decided that I should help Mommy on her conference calls by contributing my thoughts, so apparently I'm going to be doing an extra half-day at day care now.
- I can hold my bottle all by myself! But, sometimes, I don't wanna...and my Daddy does it for me.
- I went to a Helping Hands outing, where I got to meet a lot of lucky fin kids like me! Some are really close in age, so we can be friends!
- Mommy calls me Baby Deathstrike because my nails are so sharp! Look what I did to my nose last night!

- I finally got my feet into my mouth! Success!!
- I grew out of my bassinet, so I sleep in my crib now. It's working out pretty well though because I'm now sleeping (mostly) from 9pm to 5/6am. Plus, I like looking at the monkeys on my wall.
- I'm kicking butt at physical therapy. Margaret told Mommy she should start child-proofing now because I do everything early so it won't be long before I'm moving all over the place!
- I'm just getting over yet another cold and I had shots today, so I'm a little cranky.

Speaking of which, I had a doctor's appointment today, so here are my stats:
- Height: 26.5 inches (98th percentile)
- Weight: 17 lbs, 9 ozs (98th percentile)
- Head Size: 46 cm (99th percentile)

The nice doctor lady put that all together, looked at her chart and told Mommy and Daddy that I'm the perfect average size...for an 8-9 month old. Oh well, I like my food and at least, I'm proportional.

The best part of the visit was that the doctor said I can start eating more than breastmilk. I got to try rice cereal today - not sure what I think of it, but it was fun to try. Mommy said I'm going to go through more clothes now for some reason...

Next week, I get to try apples - YAY!

See you in another month!

Love,
ella

  1. There's something in the Haubner genes that make big headed children! We have 5 of them in our family! :)
