Six Month Check-up!
Ella had her six-month check-up at the pediatrician's office today. She's developing well and ready to take on more food challenges (including yogurt, meats, and tasty baby puffs!)
Some updated stats:
- Height: 27.5 inches (95th percentile)
- Weight: 20 lbs, .2 ozs (95th percentile)
- Head Size: 47 cm (99th percentile)
Short summary, she's perfectly proportionate...for a one-year old. But, her growth is slowing down a bit, so we won't have a 40 lb. child on our hands by October. She is one happy little monkey (even with 3 shots)...in her 9-12 month clothing!!

Six Months!
Happy Half Birthday to me!!
So, what's new with me?
- I can sit up! No really!!! All by myself. (If I get excited, I still fall over.)
- If I can reach something, I can grab it.
- If I can grab it, I goin' to EAT it!!
- I might be pushing 20 lbs now...but I make it look good. (6 months and in 12 month outfits...sounds right to me!)
- I'm going to Bermuda in June so I had to get my passport done! What's a passport?
- Since I've grown up so much, Mommy and Daddy finally broke out the jumperoo that the NC Formans gave me. BEST. TOY. EVER.
- I graduated into the big girl bathtub...though I still have a duckie inflatable mini-tub to keep me safe. (All I need is some bath salts, and it would be a nice, relaxing evening.)
- My diet now includes rice cereal, apples, bananas, peaches, squash, prunes, and pears. Okay, and peas too...but this post will give you an idea of what I think of those.
- I took my first trip to Maine and had a blast playing with my new friend, Sloane. We sat out in the sun, chatting and soaking up the rays!
- I recently realized that there are four furry people living in my house. I LOVE them and I LOVE to squeeze and pet them. I think they love me just as much.
- My new favorite activity is watching the Bruins playoffs with Daddy!
- Still no teeth...just one cute gummy smile.
- I have my six month check-up next week, so I'll let you know how that goes!
