We are very happy and proud to let everyone know that Ella (Pamela Catherine Forman) was born yesterday!

Last Few Weeks!
A couple of weeks ago, we met up with the lovely and talented Barb Girard in Salem to take some maternity photos. She got some great shots that you can see on her blog...

With just over two weeks to go, we are ready to go. The bags are packed. The car seat is installed. And every piece of equipment she could possibly use in the first few months are put together.
Now, we just need the wee one to arrive so that they can get some use by someone other than the cats.

T - One Month!
We are just a month away from our due date and time is flying by! Thankfully, I'm still feeling great, although a bit on the large side these days:
We had what may be our last ultrasound yesterday since I will be hitting "full-term" next week! Our little lady is growing perfectly and is estimated around 6 lbs and 4 ozs right now.
It's amazing what you can see with 3-D ultrasounds these days. (Excuse the weird distortion on her face from the umbilical cord.)
I'm apparently growing a Mini-Me...

Baby Shower!
A few weeks ago, an ocean and Nemo-themed baby shower was thrown for little Ms. Ella (and her parents). Some of the highlights included:
- Scout standing in the food line as though it was perfectly normal
- Paint-your-own onesies
- The number of books we received for Ella's library.
- Handmade gifts from Dottie and Louise
- Lew opening the gift of three pink NY Yankees onesies
- A dramatic reading of Go the F&^k to Sleep by Lynn W.
We were very lucky to receive so many thoughtful and practical gifts and we are happy to say that it has all been put away!

Week 30!
We are 75% of the way there. Just about 10 weeks to go. And here is an updated baby belleh shot for all of you long-distance people...

A quick update
Yet another ultrasound and baby doc appointment day.
It was also the day of my glucose tolerance test. For those of you who don't know, this entails drinking a bottle of liquid, which tastes like either flat orange soda or melted flavorice, within 5 minutes and then having your blood drawn exactly an hour later. This is a good reminder about the peril of giving too much sugar to your kids. She could not sit still for the entire ultrasound and even when we were just waiting for the doc to come in, you could see her (from across the room) flipping around in there.
It was funny for us, but a little hard for the sonographer! The result is that Ms. Ella is growing strong. She is about 2 lbs and 12 ozs and somewhere between 15 and 17 inches. She is measuring just where she should be.
11 weeks and a few days to go!
Update: Blood glucose test came back fine - no gestational diabetes for me.

13 weeks to go!
Apparently, over the last four weeks, Ms. Ella has doubled in size. She is now about 15 inches and a little over 2 pounds.
